Nearly two years later, the couple is on their way, optimistic the former bank will be ready in January to house its first new tenants. They want offices for professionals and maybe a café or a restaurant in the lobby that had been cordoned off into cubicles.
They took out those drop-downs, revealing the bowed original ceiling and antique light fixtures. They cleaned and continue to restore the stonework, patterned similarly to the Wagner Noël, which was designed to evoke the view of well-pads from an airplane.
