This cistern pump is located just to the side of the church. Out here in this part of the country, cistern and wells were hand dug, and each building had their own. There is water in the cistern, but the crank handle has been removed so the pump cannot be used.

This church has one, and the recreation hall next door also has one.

How to find.:
From Warrenton, take MO-U south about 8 miles to intersection with MO-94, turn left (go east), about 2 miles church will be on your right. From Marthasville, go west on MO-94 until you pass Treloar, then go about 5 more miles and church will be on your left.

Sits next to the church, good manners and common sense will be just fine
