Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg & Gotha
The husband of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The larger than life, white Sicilian Marble statue of Prince Albert stands over 8 feet tall. Sculpted by John Evan Thomas in 1865. The Prince is shown standing, Wearing a military uniform. Mounted on a grey Lime Stone plinth, making the memorial over over 25 feet tall in total, overlooking the Walled Town of Tenby in South Wales.

A plaque on the Statue Reads;
this memorial to his royal highness
ALBERT PRINCE CONSORT
was erected by the people of wales. its first stone was
laid by george white mayor of tenby on the third
anniversary of the lamented prince's death and it was
inaugurated by his royal highness prince arthur
representing her majesty
on the 2nd day of august 1865

On the pedestal are the heraldic devices including the arms of the
Prince Consort, of Llywelyn ap Gruffydd (the last prince of an independent Wales) and a shield with the monogram of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, supported on one side by the Red dragon of Cadwaladr and rested with the other side upon a partially recumbent but resilient leek, a scroll being interwoven, inscribed with the old motto anorchfygol ddraig goch cymru (the invincible red dragon of Wales)."
