Zvonice - Závist, Czech Republic - Bell Towers on Waymarking.com

Ve stredu obce stojí zdená zvonice, kterou nechala Mariana Šumanová v roce 1833, vdova po zdejším hostinském, na vlastní náklady postavit a která byla, stejne jako sama obec, zasvecena Svaté Trojici. Zvon zavešený ve zvonici byl puvodne ve zrušeném kostele svatého Klimenta v Lipuvce. V sousedství zvonice je pískovcový kríž zhotovený v roce 1857.

In the middle of the village stands the brick bell tower that had been left Mariana Šumanová in 1833, the widow of a local landlord, at their own cost to build and who was, as the municipality itself, dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The bell hung in the bell tower was originally in the abandoned church of St. Clement in Lipuvce. Near the bell tower is a sandstone cross made in 1857th.
