Conrad Daniel Graf von Blücher-Altona (* 29. Februar 1764 in Penzlin; † 1. August 1845 in Altona/Elbe) war dänischer Oberpräsident der Stadt Altona.
Während der Belagerung Hamburgs 1813/1814 rettete er Altona vor der Zerstörung durch die Franzosen und nahm die ausgewiesenen Hamburger auf. Beim Großen Brand 1842 organisierte er die Hilfe für Hamburg und erhielt dafür als Dank die Ehrenbürgerwürde. Seit dem 7. November 1838 war er bereits Ritter des dänischen Elefanten-Ordens.(Quelle: Wikipedia)
Die Statue von Franz Bernhard Schiller wurde 1852 erstellt und besteht aus Kupfer.

Conrad Daniel Graf von Blücher-Altona (* February 29, 1764 in Penzlin; † August 1, 1845 in Altona / Elbe) was the danish president of the former town Altona.
During the siege of Hamburg 1813/1814 he saved Altona from destruction by the French and took on the exiled citizens of Hamburg. During the large fire of 1842, he organized assistance to Hamburg and received in return an honorary citizen. Since November 7, 1838, he was already a Knight of the Danish elephants Order.
The statue by Franz Bernhard Schiller was created in 1852 and is made of copper.
