The Katy Land Trust, an organization dedicated to preserving history, farming, and forests, had a series of agricultural scenes painted by Bryan Haynes and Billyo O'Donnell. These were used in auctions for fund raising, and banners for advertising.
As the trust achieved success and the preservation began, and Missouri State Parks & Katy Trail State Park became partners, the paintings found themselves being re -painted on grain elevators and trailheads across the Katy Trail
