DE: Die Kirche wurde am 8. Dezember 1902 geweiht, nachdem die Gemeinde am Tag vorher Abschied genommen hatte von ihrem bisherigen Domizil, der Burgkapelle von Burg Rheineck bei Freiherrn von Bethmann - Hollweg.
Die Außenansicht der Kirche wird geprägt von dem Wechsel zwischen Strebepfeiler und Fenster. Die Strebepfeiler gliedern sogar den 5/8 – Chorschluß. Als Baumaterial wurde über einem Bruchsteinsockel heimischer Tuffstein verwendet. Aus dem gleichen Material ist auch das Tympanon–Relief mit der Darstellung des Lammes Gottes. Über dem Kaffgesims der Turmtüre befindet sich in Höhe der Turmempore eine Rosette ohne bildliche Darstellung. Über dem Glockengesims ist seit 1963 eine Turmuhr angebracht.
Diese hat einen schwarzen Hintergrund und goldene Markierungen. Zahlen sind keine vorhanden.
Zwischen Turm und Kirchenschiff ist auf der Nordseite das Treppenhaus mit einer Wendeltreppe bis zum zweiten Geschoß mit dem Laufwerk der Uhr. Ein ähnliches Treppenhaus ist auch auf der Nordseite der Sakristei, wo sie die Sakristei mit Kellerraum, Orgelempore und Dachgang verbindet. Auf der Südseite, zum Gemeindehaus hin, ist die ursprüngliche Ansicht leider verstümmelt durch den Anbau des Gemeinde- und Pfarrhauses, die ganz als Zweckbauten errichtet wurden.
Die Architektur der Zeit um 1900 zeichnete sich dadurch aus, daß sie keinen eigenen Stil hatte, sondern sich an frühere Bauformen anlehnte. So ist unsere Burgbrohler Kirche 1903 neu-romanisch erbaut. Die Christuskirche liegt uns, was den Baustil angeht, da etwas näher. Sie ist im neugotischen Stil erbaut. Man kann dies an den spitzbogigen Fenstern mit ihren Dreipässen im Bereich des Kirchenschiffes und den Vierpässen in der Vierung erkennen.
Die meisten gotischen Kirchen haben den Grundriss eines Kreuzes. Das dazugehörige Querschiff ist in der Christuskirche nur angedeutet. Später dann wurde dieser Ansatz nach Südwesten in einem Verbindungstrakt zum Gemeindesaal hin verlängert als Erweiterungsmöglichkeit für die Kirche. Da dieses angedeutete Querschiff schmaler ist als das Kirchenschiff, ist die Vierung (in der Christuskirche der Altarraum) auch nicht quadratisch, sondern nur rechteckig. Man kann dies am Kreuzrippengewölbe sehr gut erkennen.

EN: The church was consecrated on December 8, 1902, after the church on the day before had taken leave from their previous residence, the castle chapel of Castle Rheineck in Freiherr von Bethmann - Hollweg.
The exterior of the church is characterized by the alternation between buttresses and windows. The buttresses are divided even the 5/8 - choral conclusion. Between the tower and the nave is on the north side the staircase with a spiral staircase to the second floor with the drive of the watch. A similar staircase is also on the north side of the sacristy, where it joins the sacristy with basement, organ loft and roof passage. On the south side, to the chapel out the original view is unfortunately mutilated by the cultivation of municipal and parish house, which were all built as commercial buildings.
The architecture of the early 1900's was characterized by the fact that they did not have their own style, but follow the inspiration of earlier designs. So our church Burgbrohler 1903 built new-Romanesque. The Christ Church is important to us in terms of the style, as a closer. It is built in the Gothic Revival style. It can be seen with their three passports in the area of the nave and the four passes in the crossing of this to the pointed arch windows.
Most Gothic churches have the outline of a cross. The associated transept is indicated in the Christ Church only. Later this approach was extended towards the southwest in a connecting wing to the church hall as an extension possibility for the Church. As this implied transept is narrower than the nave, the crossing is (at Christ Church of the chancel) and not square, but rectangular. One can see this very well on a ribbed vault.
