The 1874 Ordnance Survey map shows a milestone here marked Godalming 5, Petworth 10. But this is a brand new looking stone MS, with additional distances to Hyde Park Corner and Chiddingfold.

Its id on the Milestone Society database is SY_LMP37R. They surveyed it in June 2011, and it was in its current state, so it was replaced before then. There is a Milestone Society photograph of it here.
