Recovered in good condition as described in the NGS datasheet. There is a metal witness post near this BM for easier recovery. This BM is also listed on a topography map as 'BM 3567'. My more accurate coordinates should place you very close to this station.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1954 5.1 MI NE FROM WEED. 0.2 MILE WEST ALONG ALAMO STREET FROM THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY RAILROAD STATION AT WEED, THENCE 4.9 MILES NORTHEAST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 97, 0.2 MILE NORTHEAST OF THE Y JUNCTION OF A DIRT ROAD LEADING EAST TO HOTLUM, AT THE NORTHEAST END OF A CUT, IN THE TOP OF AN OUTCROP, 175.1 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER OF THE SOUTHEAST END OF AN 18-INCH CORRUGATED METAL PIPE CULVERT, 52.3 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 8.8 FEET NORTHWEST OF A WIRE FENCE, 4 1/2 FEET SOUTHEAST OF A 20-INCH PINE TREE, AND ABOUT LEVEL WITH THE HIGHWAY.
