Recovered in good condition as described in the NGS datasheet. There is a metal fence that blocks access to this station. You can access a green metal gate about 300 feet south of this station. The original wooden witness post still stands near this BM for easier recovery. This BM is also listed on a topography map as 'BM 3562'. My more accurate coordinates should place you very close to this station.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1954 6.1 MI NE FROM WEED. 0.2 MILE WEST ALONG ALAMO STREET FROM THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY RAILROAD STATION AT WEED, THENCE 5.9 MILES NORTHEAST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 97, ON THE SOUTHEAST SLOPE OF A ROCKY HILL, IN THE TOP OF A LARGE BOULDER PROJECTING 2 FEET ABOVE THE GROUND, 129.4 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 2.2 FEET NORTH OF A WITNESS POST, 0.7 WEST OF THE WEST EDGE OF A CAIRN, AND ABOUT 20 FEET HIGHER THAN THE HIGHWAY.
