A former charity school in Flintham, built at the bequest of Robert Hacker.

Built in 1779, and now housing a local history museum. Note the little belfry to call scholars to school, and the panel with the Hacker family arms in the gable.
"School. Early C19. Brick with pantile roof.
Ashlar dressings. Rebated eaves, coped gables with kneelers.
Single gable stack. Single range with late C19 lean-to addition
to north west. South east gable has shaped inscribed plaque with
Arms. Above, gabled ashlar bellcote on dentillated brick corbel.
Round headed opening. South west side has to left metal
casement. To right, 2 casements and door, all with segmental
heads. North east side has central Yorkshire sash."
