I recovered this U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service reference mark from 1987 in good condition. This mark is a 3" aluminum cap mounted on a galvanized iron pipe rising 1 foot above the ground, with a small cairn of lava rock around the pipe's base. This reference mark is located approx. 12 feet south of nearby 1/16 section corner here.

To reach: Reference Mark located approx. 7.5 miles NE along highway 97 from Weed, then turn right onto a dirt track road and then an immediate left. Head NE on the track road approx. .4 miles to station on the right, approximately 15 feet east of the track road.

Condition: Mark found in good condition
