According to the 1901 census of Fitzroy township, Lanark county, Ontario, Emma Tripp was born 3 January 1883.

According to the Manitoba marriage registration (#1913-059337), Emma Suzanna Tripp married William Gray in Winnipeg, 27 October 1913.

The text below is taken from The Ottawa Journal newspaper, 5 May 1972, page 39.

In hospital Thursday, May 4, 1972, William Gray, beloved husband of Emma Susanna Tripp of 2055 Carling Ave. Resting Hulse and Playfair central chapel, 315 McLeod St. Service Monday 2 p.m. Interment Pinecrest cemetery. Friends may all from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
