EN: The Wasen fountain is located on a square in the west of the old town of Laufenburg. The twelve-sided basin is decorated with the municipal coat of arms, next to the fountain column, there is a small side basin. On the column there is a baluster, decorated with leaves.
The history of the fountain is unknown. The coat of arms dates from 1766, the baluster is estimated to be from 1573.
DE: Der Wasenbrunnen befindet sich auf einem Platz im Westen der Altstadt von Laufenburg. Der zwölfeckige Trog ist mit dem Stadtwappen geschmückt, neben der Brunnensäule befindet sich noch ein kleiner Nebentrog. Auf der Säule befindet sich ein mit Blättern geschmückter Baluster.
Die Geschichte des Brunnens ist unbekannt. Das Stadtwappen stammt von 1766, der Baluster wird auf 1573 geschätzt.
