In 2003, Ohio celebrated its 200th anniversary as a state. To observe the event, a barn was chosen from each county to have an anniversary logo painted by barn artist Scott Hagan on a prominent side.

This barn is located along Madison Rd (SR 528) just south of Mayfield Rd (SR 322) in Geauga County, Ohio. The Ohio Bicentennial artwork is on display on the east wall of the barn. The site is also the location of Sugarbush Creek Farm, one of the many local producers of maple syrup.
