The plaque says, 'This library was designed by Howard A. Friedman and Henry Schubert, Schubert and Friedman, and opened in 1963. It is supported by the Howard A. Friedman Endowed Library Fund, established in memory of a devoted trustee, benefactor, and friend of Dominican College (1919-1988)."
