EN: The railway station of Laufenburg is located at the banks of the Rhine before a tunnel entrance just west of the old town. It was opened in 1856 and is located on the second stretch of the Upper Rhine Railway from Badischer Bahnhof in Basel to Konstanz.

The station is served hourly by regional train between Basel and Lauchringen. The two tracks are accessed via an underpass. The old station building is today obviously used for residential purposes and contains no more counters or offices.

DE: Der Bahnhof von Laufenburg befindet am Rheinufer gleich westlich der Altstadt kurz vor einer Tunneleinfahrt. Er wurde 1856 eröffnet und liegt auf dem zweiten Streckenabschnitt der Hochrheinbahn vom Badischen Bahnhof in Basel nach Konstanz.

Der Bahnhof wird im Stundentakt vom Regionalzug zwischen Basel und Lauchringen bedient. Die beiden Geleise werden über eine Unterführung erreicht. Das alte Bahnhofsgebäude wird heute offenbar zu Wohnzwecken benutzt und enthält keine Schalter oder Büros mehr.
