This grey metal cap, mounted on a pipe sits along side State Road 88 in Apache Junction Arizona. It markers the corner of a mining claim by the Young Mining Company dating to 1924. (visit link)
The cap is stamped across the top MS 3886. On the bottom edge is stamped R L Fannin LS 14177. The middle contains crossed lines with two eights on one side and two W's of the other. RL Fannin LS 14177 refers to a 1987 survey of the claims on behalf of Ronnie Fannin. (visit link)
