Located at the intersection of Scottsdale Road and the 101 freeway, the Dial corporate headquarters and Henkel building is LEED rated. It is a commercial office building. All entrances are shaded from the intense sonoran desert sun. Parking lots are covered with crushed granite to allow water absorption rather than runoff. The four story structure is comprised of two levels of glass curtain wall, environmentally shaded by a double ceramic frit, above two levels clad in aluminum panels, deeply textured plaster, and native Ashfork sandstone.
