That group of three contains the first two benchmarks I ever did, and are what actually started us on our Waymarking odyssey. For some strange and inexplicable reason I never did do the survey marker at the location, this one. We stumbled across the trio on the south abutment of the bridge, likely while looking for a cache. I didn't even know what they were at first, but B remembered something about benchmarks at Geocaching. From there we discovered Waymarking and the rest, as they say, ... well, you know.
As for its being a survey marker, given that it's mounted on a bridge abutment, the only land I can visualize it demarcating would be the northern edge of the Teck (nee Cominco) land to the south.
