Stopped off at the courthouse yesterday to see if we could peel a couple more waymarks off that historic and beautiful old building. It was HOT (as in 97° F at our place) and we thought it might be cooler up the hill. It was - a thermometer at the disc golf course read 82° F.
Anyhoo - walking around the corner of the courthouse we stumbled across this survey marker. It's in the sidewalk at the southeast corner of the building and immediately south of the southeast corner post in the stone fence surrounding the courthouse. As best as I can make out, it's marked simply 106. It is likely marking the southeast corner of the courthouse lot.
Incidentally, the courthouse behind this survey disc is a
Canadian National Historic Site.
