Recovered in good condition as described in the NGS datasheet with the exception that Grass Lake railroad station no longer exists and neither does milepost 369. This BM is also listed on a topography map as 'BM 5058'. My more accurate coordinates should place you very close to this station.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1954 0.5 MI NE FROM GRASS LAKE. 0.5 MILE NORTHEAST ALONG THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY RAILROAD FROM THE STATION AT GRASS LAKE, 1/2 POLE NORTHEAST OF MILEPOST 369, IN THE TOP OF THE NORTHWEST END OF THE SOUTHWEST ABUTMENT OF BRIDGE 369.01, 20 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE NORTHWEST RAIL OF THE MAIN TRACK, AND ABOUT 1/2 FOOT LOWER THAN THE TRACK.
