De Hoop is a flour mill in the Drenthe Norg. It is covered with roofing felt octagonal smock with continuous octagonal styles, the foot is also covered with roofing felt.
At the moment, this particular mill is regularly commissioned by volunteer millers.
The mill was built in 1857 as hulling mill. Today, the mill is designed as a corn mill and a couple times with 16er (140 cm diameter) blue millstones. there is also a regulator for the present operation. The mill has a fur toe.
