Sujet étayé, haubané et mastiqué, mais conservant un large houppier et une bonne vitalité.
L'arbre de Judée et une espèce méditerranéenne qui tient son nom de sa patrie d'origine mais des espèces proches nous viennnent d'Amérique du Nord et d'Extrême Orient.
Son nom scientifique, Cercis, designe la navette de tisserand qui rappelle la forme de son fruit.

Its scientific name , Cercis, means the shuttle weaver who recalls the shape of the fruit .
