At the back of the church is an 11th century font (more likely 14th), the only survivor from the pre-Reformation church. The bowl has carved foliate patterns and shields, and the stem a moulded capital and base. It has a Georgian (circa 1767) wood lid crowned with a pineapple, which was a sign of wealth and status.
