This USDA BPR benchmark was set in 1934 and is marked 23H-7. It is located about 65 feet north of highway centerline across highway from QD1141 (H6).

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1963 1.1 MI W FROM SANTIAM JUNCTION. 1.1 MILES WEST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 20 FROM THE MOBIL SERVICE STATION AND STORE AT SANTIAM JUNCTION, 0.2 MILE WEST OF MILE POST NO. 74, 133 FEET NORTH AND ACROSS THE HIGHWAY FROM BENCH MARK H 6 (U.S.B.P.R.), 66 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER OF THE HIGHWAY AND 2 FEET SOUTH OF A WOODEN WITNESS POST. THE MONUMENT PROJECTS 5 INCHES.
