The mausoleum is located in Restlawn Memorial Park in Jacksonville. The mausoleum is located on the western side of the cemetery. On the front of the mausoleum is a polyptych consisting of nine tile panels of a historic photo of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. At the top of the mausoleum are his initials MLK. The mausoleum can accommodate up to 15 of the dearly departed. There is currently a plaque identifying the final resting place of only one individual in the mausoleum, but it appears that several other plaques may have fallen off.
