The Kinghorn trails area of Mt Work Park has a number of interesting features including trolls and fairy doors. About 100 m south of the Giant Junction is a wee fairy door on a bridge leading Troll Knoll. The fairy door features a green door on a white frame with blue gables on an wee three arched bridge. Grog lives under this bridge.

The toll normally charged for safe passage by trolls living under bridges is half your goodies. If you pay the toll, he will give you one goodie back. Grog is is a sensitive new age troll now permitting free safe passage.

Trolls live deep in the woods. This is a 2 hour loop hike through the woods on good but little used trails for 5 km, 3 miles. Allow time for snacks on Troll Knoll. Access is from the Mt Work Munn Rd parking lot then to Corry Rd and turning right after about a mile along Corry Rd trail at the old Kinghorn tree farm gate and then taking either the Spring Ridge Way up the hill or Ravens Ridge Trail past a second gate and the Kinghorn Cabin to the Giant Junction and then Swampside Way to Troll Knoll or the Blue Jay Trail to Troll Bridge. Jim Kinghorn, who transferred this land to The Land Conservancy (TLC) and then on to CRD parks Mt work, made and named these all trails.
