The clock has a face on each side of the tower with the faces being set into a purpose-built recess. The faces are identical so only one is described here.
The background to the face is circular and painted black. The hour and minute marks are pressed from a single sheet of metal with the marks being held together by three concentric rings. The marks are painted gold with the hour marks being Roman numerals. The hands are a basic design and are also painted gold.
