Opened about 2002, this already famous landmark was designed by architect Santiago Calatrava. It is a two- for as it also uses a 210 ft. pylon as the LARGEST working sundial in the world (at the time).

highly visible landmark for both Turrtle Bay Exploration Park, the botanical garden, and Redding's Sacramento River National Recreation Trail. This trail is a paved bicycle and walking trail along the river.
Fees apply to visit the Exploration Park on the south side.
The bridge can be accessed and viewed from the north side (the botanical garden side) but there are gates that open in the a.m. and are closed in the early evening!
