The sculpture is of a Tea Lady delivering morning or afternoon tea to the workers at the Midland Railways workshops, she comes complete with tea-urn and mug.
This is one of a series of sculptures depicting the workers of the now defunct Midalnd Railways Workshops commisioned by the Redevlopement Authority and placed around the nearby streets, she is located on the corner of Keane St and The Avenue.
