The wooden belfry located in a town cemetery in Lomnice nad Popelkou is a cultural monument registered in the Central list of cultural monuments of the Czech Republic and it is the oldest building in town. The wooden bell tower was probably built in 1652 in the cemetery, which was moved in these times here. The prismatic bell tower is built on a hexagonal base made of bricks and its roof is covered by shingles and a double-arm cross ia atttached to its very top. In the first floor of the bellfry a bell from 1591 and one small bell are hanged. Originally (untill WW I) the belfry accomodated five bells but most of them were requisited.
