Irma Jean Kimble is identified on the reverse of her headstone as the first triplet born in Denton County, in historic Eakins Cemetery, Ponder, TX.

Irma's modern, gray granite headstone has an open book with her name and personal dates, with flowers and a cross as detail around the book. The inscription is:

Irma J.
Kimble

Nov. 22, 1937
Nov. 25, 1937

The reverse of the headstone says:

First Triplet Born In
Denton County

Parents
Walter & Lula

Unfortunately, Irma only survived a few days. Her brother, Eugene, lived until 1978, and he is buried in Denton's historical Oakwood Cemetery. Their sister, Bobby Jean, has no listing on Findagrave, and very well could still be with us.
