This cobblestone is easy to miss if you are driving south to north due to the large clapboard addition that presents on the south side. Very typical original cobblestone, on the north side.

This is a very handsome five-bay, symmetric (center entrance) federal style cobblestone has shallow stone quoins, and sills but deep lintels. The quoins are roughly cut sandstone or limestone that look almost like fieldstone but for the striations.
The row of stone between the foundation and the upper portion of the building strikes me as unique (painted white), as is the fact that the visible portion of the foundation is also cobblestone. (Often just randomly sized fieldstone in this era of construction.)
Besides the quoins, I find this cobblestone interesting because it is oriented with the end gable facing the road, so it first presents (as you south to north) as a three bay side-entrance building with a fan vent in the gable.
The fenestration in the cobblestone portion of the building is a uniform six-over-six double hung pane with handsome decorative shutters.
