This is a very distinguished cobblestone. Built as a public school building, it has features that say, "pride of place".
Originally a five-bay center entrance structure, three bays deep, it has been expanded using similar materials and techniques. The large quoins and lintels have been painted, so it is a little difficult to determine the type of stone. I'm going to call it sandstone. The arched lintel entry-way includes a fanlight transom. There is also a fan shaped accent in the end dormer. The cobbles are medium size, four rows per quoin.
