Not everyone checks the back of the gravestones as well as viewing the front. This shows the government plaque on the reverse and his occupation on the front. Memorial weekend is easier to find veterans gravestones because of the placement of flags. Also noticed that the cemetery uses small green paint spots, at the base, to remind volunteers where to place the American flags. Not necessary for the granite stone markers, or for the flat bronze plates, but helpful.

Pilots often see the same shadows as other veterans. This one made it safely home.
