The Salamanca Rail Museum is located in the former B&O/BR&P Train Station. Built in 1912 by the Bufflo, Rochester and Pittsburgh Railway, the station was in use until bought by the Baltimore & Ohio railway in 1928. Passenger service continued unit 1956 and the station closed.
The station reopened as a museum in 1980. Artifacts include baggage carts, track speeders and nearby display of cabooses and railcars.
The Pittsburgh and West Virginia caboose as a working coal stove that is demonstrated on weekends.
The museum is free and open Tues-Sat 10-5 and Sundays 12-5
