This Oregon State Highway Dept. rivet was probably set about 1933 as a preliminary leveling point prior to setting the cap for QE1264. It is located at the southwest corner of the bridge.

A NEW DESCRIPTION FOLLOWS. 20.3 KM (12.60 MI) SOUTHERLY ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 101 FROM ITS JUNCTION WITH STATE HIGHWAY 34 IN WALDPORT, IN THE SOUTH END OF THE WEST WALKWAY OF A HIGHWAY BRIDGE SPANNING CUMMINGS CREEK, 5.2 M (17.1 FT) WEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE HIGHWAY, AND 0.25 M (0.8 FT) NORTH OF THE SOUTH END OF THE WALKWAY.
