[DE] "Die Hohenzollernbrücke ist eine Brücke über den Rhein in Köln in Höhe von Rheinstromkilometer 688,5. Das 1907 bis 1911 errichtete Bauwerk bestand ursprünglich aus zwei Eisenbahn- und einer Straßenbrücke. Nach 1945 erfolgte der Wiederaufbau nur noch für die zwei Eisenbahnbrücken, die später um eine dritte ergänzt wurden. Als Ersatz für die entfallene Straßenbrücke wurden an die äußeren Eisenbahnbrücken Geh- und Radwege angesetzt.
Die Hohenzollernbrücke stellt mit dem benachbarten Hauptbahnhof einen der wichtigsten Knotenpunkte im deutschen und europäischen Eisenbahnnetz dar. Das Bauwerk gehört als fester Bestandteil zum Stadtbild von Köln und dem Kölner Dom.
Mit etwa 1220 Zugfahrten pro Tag ist sie eine der meistbefahrenen Eisenbahnbrücken in Deutschland. Das Bauwerk gilt, zusammen mit dem Kölner Hauptbahnhof, als zentraler Engpass im Schienenverkehr in der Region Köln."
