In Keane, northeast of the center of town and next to Robin Hood Park and Forest, is the Woodland Cemetery, Northeast Division.

The Woodland Cemetery, Northeast Division, has two entrances off Lincoln Street. There are signs right there, stating, "Woodland Cemetery Northeast Division." This part is joined to the main part by one paved cemetery road. However, the Keene Parks and Recreation Department has an entry, each, for both of them and has maps stating such, so I'm considering them as separate cemeteries I'll only talk about the grounds in this division.

The Northeast division has graves dating from the mid-1800s to the present day. It is relatively open, and had gently rolling hills. At the time of visit, there were blooms of colored flowers covering portions of the ground. Near the north end is the Sumner Knight and Family Chapel, a beautiful stone structure.

At the time visiting we were 'shadowed' by a calico cat. There were no houses in the immediate area, so he must have a large territory here!
