Former Bank of Montreal building which was rebuilt in 1908 following a large fire in the downtown area. The building was originally built in 1902 for the Sovereign Bank of Canada, which failed in 1907.
The bank moved to newer facilities at 7 Front Street in Stirling in the 1990's.
The building is now occupied by Whitley Insurance.
