The foundation stone of the former St Mark's Soldiers Memorial Church was laid on the 17th of December 1922 by the W.A. Governor with services starting in 1923 and continuing until the late 1960's when the parish members decided to centralise all services to St Mary's (WMHCM6). In 1975 the building was sold to the current owners the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes.
