This Park was dedicated in April 1991.
Curiously, the only mention of this Park on the City of San Diego's webpage is on its Planning Department pages.
This website (visit link) informs us:

"Trolley Barn Park is located on the North side of Adams Avenue in the University Heights area. It begins at Alabama Street and ends before Park. Summer concerts are very popular, and tend to draw a large crowd.

Concerts typically start at 6pm and end at 8pm, every Friday from around the beginning of July to the middle of August."

The Park is relatively small but has an area at the back that has a wonderful view of Mission Valley. Just a few picnic benches and at least one grill. Plus a playground for tots. The Park's name is derived from the fact that this site used to be where the carbarn was located for the former (as opposed to the modern) San Diego trolley.
