Did find this tid-bit:
John Sykora married Frances Stanek, and had one child, Clara.
Clara Sykora was born on Nov 28, 1903 at Troy, Lincoln County, Missouri. She was the daughter of John Sykora and Frances Stanck. Clara married George Abram Weinand, son of Henry John Weinand and Bertha Annetta Cortelyou, on Nov 12, 1928 at Troy, Lincoln County, Missouri. Clara Sykora died in Aug, 1986 at Troy, Lincoln County, Missouri, at age 82.
"The Land was purchased with funds of the Clara Weinand estate for use as a park. The park consist of 5.15 acres and the area includes a picnic shelter with tables and a quarter mile walking trail.
This is the newest of the city's parks and is still being developed through the planting of trees and bushes, donated by area citizens in honor of their loved ones.
"This park, located on the west side of town on Boone Street, offers exercise and relaxation for Troy residents and many other groups" ~ Troy Convention and Visitors Bureau
