TO REACH FROM THE JUNCTION OF US HIGHWAY 101 AND OREGON 34 IN WALDPORT, GO SOUTH ALONG US 101 FOR 0.64 KM (0.4 MI) TO THE STATION ON THE RIGHT. THE STATION IS A STANDARD USC+GS TRI STATION DISC STAMPED---V 79 1933---, SET INTO A DRILL HOLE AT THE NORTH END OF A CONCRETE SEA WALL, 4.6 METERS (15.0 FEET) WEST OF THE HIGHWAY.
