In 1968, country singer Johnny Cash visited Folsom Prison and sang to inmates there. His song, "Folsom Prison Blues" became a smash hit. The City of Folsom voted to commemorate his accomplishments by constructing the Johnny Cash Trail and Legacy Park. The park is still under construction, but the first art piece to be completed was this large wooden guitar, approximately 24 feet long, erected at the intersection of E.
