DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1968 6.25 MI S FROM NEWPORT. 6.25 MILES SOUTH ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 101 FROM THE NEWPORT CITY HALL, 92 FEET NORTH OF POWER POLE NO. 8, 72 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF U.S. HIGHWAY 101, 12 FEET WEST OF BENCH MARK 5A 28 (U.S.B.P.R.) AND 2 FEET WEST OF A WITNESS POST SET IN CONCRETE IN A 12-INCH TILE THAT PROJECTS 1 INCH.
