DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1968 6.25 MI N FROM NEWPORT. 6.25 MILES SOUTH ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 101 FROM THE NEW PORT CITY HALL, 69 FEET NORTHWEST OF POWER POLE NO. 8, 50 FEET EAST OF THE EDGE OF THE BLUFF OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN, AND 2 FEET NORTHWEST OF A WITNESS POST SET IN CONCRETE IN A 12-INCH TILE THAT PROJECTS 1 INCH.
