This post office is located right next to the village square in the downtown area. This building has been the Clyde post office since 1939 when it was built. I spoke to one of the local village officials about this post office awhile back and it seems there was a USGS benchmark located in the front steps of this post office, but when they upgraded the front to make it handicapped accessible, they added a ramp. They used a concrete saw to cut out the benchmark to save it and reinstall it when the ramp was finished, then lost it while it was in storage. I went to this location to find the benchmark and thats when I discovered it was missing. This area of Clyde is one of the original sections of the village and is quite interesting to see, as there are quite a few old structures in the block. The actual address of this post office is:
