Peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 1992, Ruby Richards age 100. Beloved wife of the late J. J. (Jap) Rowe. Dear mother of Evelyn Cumming, Ruth Moreland (Hap), Kenneth (Irene) and the late Belford (Bun). Sister of Dr. T. W. Richards. Loving grandmother of Ian, John, Diane, Mary, Peter, Joan, Ruth, Richard, Elaine, Judy and the late David. Also survived by 18 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Saturday at 10 a.m. conducted by Reverend Stewart Hewlett of Southminster United Church. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. Those wishing to send a memorial tribute, may donate to the charity of their choice.
